More about Sandra
Hi, my name is Sandra Siladji. I attained Highly Accomplished in 2015 whilst I was teaching at Parafield Gardens Primary School. I have been a member of the LTASA/HALT network for 7 years as treasurer and then secretary. After certifying I joined the team at Teacher Standards and Certification, became an assessor and mentored many applicants on their journey.
I am currently at Parafield Gardens working with Upper Primary students.
I have 30 years of teaching behind me, but I still enjoy being with students and work hard to ensure that every child gets the best of my skills, knowledge, and experience every day.
I believe that undertaking certification is the best kind of learning any teacher could undertake if they are prepared to challenge and improve their own practice. I have really enjoyed meeting teachers who are as passionate about education as I am, and it has broadened my view of what makes teachers great. Therefore, encourage anyone considering applying for HAT or lead teacher to join the HALT Network.
