More about Bahareh

Hi everyone, my name is Bahareh Javidi and I became a certified Highly Accomplished Teacher in 2017. I thoroughly enjoyed taking the time to reflect on my practice and found the process incredibly rewarding. In 2018 I became a certified assessor and have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to enrich my knowledge of the AITSL Standards by mentoring my fellow colleagues to achieve Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher accreditation.

I spent my first few years as an Early Career Teacher at Para Hills West Primary School, teaching in Junior Primary, before winning a permanent position at John Hartley School, teaching Primary. After becoming certified, I applied and won a position as a Highly Accomplished Teacher and then moved into a leadership role in Curriculum and Pedagogy. I am currently the Assistant Principal at Nailsworth Primary School, with a focus on pedagogy in Junior Primary and well-being.

I feel so fortunate to go to work every day doing something I love. I am delighted to be part of the SA HALT Network committee and look forward to working with my colleagues to continue promoting and supporting educators on their journey to certification.
